This past May, En Vogue had the incredible opportunity to be a part of the annual NACE Wedding Trends. Even more exciting was that our owner, Savanna, was named one of the three event co-chairs. Under her direction, an amazing event came together! Wedding Trends was designed to educate NACE members on current industry trends, and is also the organization’s biggest fundraising event of the year.
This year was the event’s 10th anniversary, so it was designed to be the biggest and best program yet! To celebrate this milestone, the theme was “honoring the past, treasuring the present and shaping the future.” The event was designed so that the cocktail hour represented past trends, the dinner and speaker portion of the program represented the present, and the after party represented the future. Each portion of the program had its own separate space and unique design. The color palette also progressed throughout the evening with the past space starting out in black, white and gray, the present incorporating metallic and a muted colors, and the future bringing in bright colors.
Making the event even more special was the keynote speaker, celebrity wedding planner, Mindy Weiss. Mindy participated in a meet and greet and book signing with VIP guests, and then shared her take on the current wedding trends during the program portion of the event.
