We always love wedding days, but when the big day is for one of our own En Vogue ladies, it’s even more exciting! En Vogue coordinator Brittni married the man of her dreams, Cameron, at Chateau Polonez on April 8, and we were so thrilled to be a part of it!
The high school sweethearts invited 250 of their family + friends to share in their celebration. The ceremony was held indoors, in front of a large window wall, looking out at the venue’s beautiful grounds. The start of the aisle was marked with tall candlesticks wrapped in greenery, while lanterns lined the walk to the altar.
Cameron + his groomsmen walked down the aisle in navy suites with handcrafted, wooden bowties from The Two Guys Bowties. Brittni chose ivory tulle skirts for her bridesmaids, and had each girl pick a different navy top. Bridesmaids also got to pick out their favorite pair of Keds to wear, while the bride chose a fabulous, sparkly, gold Kate Spade pair for herself. As Brittni made her grand entrance, escorted by her father, she stunned in a lace + tulle ball gown with blush tones from Allure Bridals. The ceremony was made even more special because it was performed by the groom’s cousin.
Reception centerpieces alternated between tall candlesticks + lanterns, each surrounded by greenery and accented with blush + ivory floral. Navy was brought into the reception through the napkins, and specialty linens for the sweetheart + dessert tables. The wedding cake was a naked cake, dressed up with flower blooms + a wooden initial topper. The groom’s cake, which was incredibly real looking, but made entirely of edible items, was a Yeti cooler, filled with beers + ice, and surrounded by fishing gear. For another sweet treat, a dessert table was set up, filled with a display of candy + baked goods made by the bride’s family.
After dinner, guests were treated to a performance by one of the groomsmen who sang “All of Me” by John Legend. Guests danced the rest of the night away, and ended the amazing evening with a sparkler exit for the new Mr. + Mrs.!
