Here at En Vogue Events we noticed a simple but new trend sweeping the wedding scene and its cake toppers! Usually not too much thought goes into the cake topper when so many other things are focused on in the planning process, but lately the cake topper has been one to receive a lot of attention.

This topper is ideal for brides and grooms with a sense of humor. Long gone are the days of the cake topper representing the traditional bride and groom picture perfect pose. There are several versions of this style of cake topper where the bride is dragging the groom or vice versa with other personalized ornaments. This is always enjoyed by the guests.

This topper seems to be a common trend as well. Brides and grooms are shying away from the common replication of themselves on the cake and instead focusing on the words itself that spell their last name.
