More than 500 people attended the 11th annual Surviving and Thriving Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon Monday afternoon. The event benefits St. Joseph Regional Cancer Services and the American Cancer Society in Brazos Valley. The event typically raises between $30,000 and $40,000 each year. En Vogue Events’ own Cynthia Hughes served on this years (and last years) committee for Surviving and Thriving.
